This summer, we began the roll-out of our unifying Providence brand for all
ministries in Washington and Montana. The new brand was created with intention
and infused with deep meaning, drawn from our rich history and our Mission.
You'll see the new brand in this issue – the St. Joseph Health cross and colors,
combined with the word "Providence." You'll also read about the people who make
our brand come alive – our caregivers who carry forward our legacy every day.
I'm in awe of the resolve our caregivers have shown in the most challenging times.
Their commitment to caring for others reflects the strong and lasting foundation of
our core values. The communities we serve see this, trusting us to care for them and
their families when they are most vulnerable.
In this issue of HeartBeat Magazine, you'll read about a brave individual who believed
wholly in our cardiac team when his heart was failing. He said that after the first
meeting with his surgeons, he had complete trust in them and felt a deep sense of
calm and hope.
There are others, too. Reading their stories, I'm reminded that trust in a brand
takes years to build. It is not what we say, but how we treat others and the ways
we connect to our communities. I hope that when you see and feel our new brand
here and throughout our ministries, it will remind you of our unwavering values and
commitment to you, your family and community.
