Whites do better than average on all measures except for asthma. Although Asian Americans do better than average on all measures, health outcomes are not uniform across Asian subgroups. According to the California Health Interview Survey, Filipinos report higher rates of diabetes (19.5 percent) and though not included in this dataset, Pacific Latinos face higher rates of obesity and diabetes Latinos face higher health risks with the exception of asthma Readiness 64. One 2010 study showed that Native Hawaiians in Southern California are at higher risk for diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular disease compared with other groups.
