Providence Health Care and
St. Luke's Rehabilitation have
developed a Physical Medicine
and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
residency program with the fi rst
group of six residents to begin
this year. The new, three-year
program was recently approved
by the Accreditation Council for
Graduate Medical Education.
"St. Luke's is a leader in the fi eld
of medical rehabilitation, research
and education," says Greg Carter,
M.D., chief medical o cer. "We
are grateful for this opportunity
to teach new physicians about
the interdisciplinary approach to
restoring the lives of people after
an injury or illness."
