HEALTHY PREPARATIONS
• Use and prepare foods that contain little or no
salt.
• Don't add salt to food as it is cooking. Half the
amount of salt a recipe calls for.
• When using oils choose those that are liquid at
room temperature, such as olive or canola.
• Use fresh herbs, lemon juice or vinegar to add
flavor to your food.
