Welcome to Providence Alaska Medical Center. To protect our patients, staff and
community from the spread of COVID-19, we have four visiting levels: green, yellow,
orange, and red. We choose these levels based on how many people have COVID-
19 in Alaska and Anchorage; and how busy the hospital is. Please Note: Visiting
guidelines may change as needed for the safety of patients and staff.
We want you and your loved one to stay in touch when you are not here. Options
include: phone calls, video chat, voice recorder, letters, email, cards, etc. Please
contact your loved one's Care team for help with staying in touch.
COVID-19 Visiting Guidelines
Visitors must:
Always wear a mask.
Wash or sanitize hands often.
Pass a health screen at the door including a
temperature check.
Complete contact tracing long upon entry.
Follow all directions from staff
