She was a vice president of the Kaiser Family Foundation, where she established and directed the Program for the Study of Media and Health. Prior to that role she was the entrepreneur-in-residence at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and an associate director at the Pew Research Center, where she led the health and technology portfolio.
