First Annual Layla Paige’s Nature Walk for TrinityKids Care

Layla Paige’s Nature Walk for TrinityKids Care will be more than a walk among the beautiful grounds and waterfalls of South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes. This first annual walk will be a gathering of people who know how vital it is to offer compassionate, pediatric hospice care to children and adolescents. All proceeds will benefit TrinityKids Care, a program of Providence TrinityCare Hospice.

The host of Layla Paige’s Nature Walk for TrinityKids Care will be Jack Black, star of the upcoming film, “Jumanji: The Next Level,” and one-half of the rock-folk comedy group Tenacious D. Along with entertainment by Jack and others, this fabulous morning will include food, activities, raffle prizes and art created by TrinityKids Care patients and their families.

Celebrate the life and legacy of Layla Paige

Layla Paige was a beautiful two-year-old girl who suffered from an incurable brain disorder. Before she peacefully passed away in her mother’s arms, she was lovingly cared for by the staff at TrinityKids Care. Not only did they care for Layla, they provided strong emotional support for her parents and older brother, Luke.

To honor their daughter’s life and recognize the support they received from TrinityKids Care, Layla’s parents created this special event. It’s a way to give back and at the same time pay it forward to other patients and families with similar needs.

Layla Paige was one of nearly 2,000 patients cared for by TrinityKids Care since its inception.

About TrinityKids Care

TrinityKids Care is the only dedicated pediatric hospice and palliative care program in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. It was created in 2001 to provide compassionate pediatric hospice care to children and adolescents. The program helps children with life-limiting illnesses live as normally as possible for as long as possible in their own homes.
