July 8, 2020 Providence News Team

Providence is making a profound impact on the lives of the patients it serves by making improvements to healthcare delivery. And in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, these changes are being accelerated and are more important than ever.

One of Providence’s partners, Dr. Josh Luke, is a champion for healthcare transformation, affordability, and building a culture of accountability. Part of the healthcare evolution involves evaluating and advancing the workforce of the future. That’s where Greg Till, Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer at Providence, focuses his life’s work.

Dr. Luke and Greg Till recently sat down to discuss their mutual expertise. In this series of five short videos, they talk about the healthcare system of the future, technology and innovation, and how the human resources function is navigating the waters of rapid and necessary change.

Innovation and compassion – As healthcare transitions from the clinic to the patient’s home thanks to telemedicine, Providence is using creative HR approaches for recruiting, hiring and training.

Health system of the future – Providence caregivers provide key insight into telemedicine technologies by using them for themselves.

Attracting and hiring talent – No matter the job function or work location, Providence is using teleservices to empower and engage its caregivers.

How Providence uses innovation to make life easier for people – The healthcare system of the future will look very different from today. Providence is anticipating those needs through testing and use of new technologies benefitting caregivers and their patients.

How Providence recruits for the next generation – Providence is cultivating a culture, wrapped up in a powerful Mission, where a lifetime of career growth and opportunities are available.

We hope these videos give you a sense of the passion and dedication Providence brings every day to improve the delivery of world-class care. To learn more about our vision for healthcare transformation, check out our Future of Health podcast series.
